Bokaro to Host First ‘Art and Science Street’ Event on April 26

Bokaro: A lively stretch of the city is set to transform into a buzzing hub of creativity this Sunday as Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) rolls out its first-ever ‘Art and Science Street’ on April 26, from 6 PM to 9 PM. The main road from Gandhi Chowk (Sector-4) to Bokaro Mall will turn into an open-air showcase of art, innovation, and local talent.

Blending creativity with curiosity, the event will feature everything from paintings, sketches, handicrafts, and wall art to live demonstrations of science projects by young innovators. Designed around the idea of “Promote, Encourage and Connect,” the initiative aims to spark public interest while giving artists, artisans, and students a dynamic platform.

The excitement is already visible—over 50 stalls have been booked, with strong participation from BSL employees and their families. Food counters, handmade products, and interactive exhibits promise to turn the evening into a vibrant street festival.

With this unique initiative, BSL is pushing community engagement, creativity, and self-reliance to the forefront. Residents have been invited to turn up in large numbers and experience a rare blend of art and science under one roof—well, under the open sky.
