Students showcase leadership and global thinking at Jharkhand Chapter meet

 

Bokaro:  Students of Delhi Public School (DPS), Bokaro, have brought laurels to their school by winning the prestigious ‘Best School Delegation’ award at the Jharkhand Chapter of India’s International Movement to Unite Nations (IIMUN) 2025. The event, held at Credo World School in Dhanbad, witnessed remarkable participation from DPS Bokaro, where the students impressed the judges with their thoughtful debates, confident presentations, and deep understanding of global issues.

Over three days, nearly 250 students from across Jharkhand came together to simulate the functioning of the United Nations. They represented different countries and engaged in serious discussions on important topics such as the role of artificial intelligence in healthcare, sustainable development, and anti-corruption strategies.

DPS Bokaro’s students made a strong mark in various committees, winning several recognitions for their individual performances. Their teamwork, knowledge, and diplomatic skills helped the school earn the top honour of the conference.

Congratulating the students, Principal Dr. A.S. Gangwar said that platforms like IIMUN help shape future leaders by enhancing their communication skills and global awareness. “We believe in nurturing young minds to become thoughtful and responsible citizens through innovative and progressive learning,” he added.

The school’s victory is a proud moment, reflecting its ongoing commitment to excellence and preparing students to lead with vision and purpose.
