ANS: On the occasion of the death anniversary of Kishore Kumar, the Bokaro artists paid a heartfelt tribute to a well-known playback singer. A musical extravaganza was also organsied in this sequence on Tuesday evening.

Noted singers Arun Pathak, Ranju Singh, Raman Kumar, Amod Srivastava and Manan paid tribute to the singer by singing some memorable songs of sung by Kishore Kumar. The program started with a wreath on Kishore Kumar’s photo.

Speaking on the occasion Pathak said, Kishore Kumar was rich in versatility. His contribution in popularizing film music will always be remembered. “He will always be remembered for his performances in films as well as for playback singing,” he added.

“Kishore Kumar is known for fun filled songs. The songs sung by him still fascinate music lovers. In the areas of acting, direction, Kishore Da left a mark of his talent,” said Neeraj Chaudhary Director of Neeraj Enterprises.

Arun Pathak mesmerized the audience by reciting, Mere Mehboob Qayamat hogi …’, ‘Roop tera mastana, pyar mera deewana …’, ‘Chingadi koi bhadke …’, ‘Mere naina saawan bhado …’, ‘Rimjhim gire saawan …’ while the other singers paid tribute to Kishore Kumar from the melodious rendition ‘Tere Mere Milan Ki Ye Raina …’, ‘Kora Kagaz Tha Yeh Man Mera …’ ( by Ranju Singh); ‘Kabhi Bebasi ne Mara…’, ‘Mera diwanepan ki bhi dawa nahi…’; Manan ‘Teri bhigi bghigi si …’ (Raman Kumar); ‘Jeevan ke din chhote sahi…’ , ‘Sama Hai Suhana Suhana …’ ‘Dekha Ek Khwab ko Ye Sehile Huwe…’ ( by Amod Srivastava and Ranju Singh).
