Established in 1951 and nurtured under the patronage of Tata Steel, the iconic tournament will be staged jointly at the picturesque Beldih Golf Course and Golmuri Golf Course, both celebrated for their immaculate 18-hole greens and scenic settings.

More than 250 golfers from across the country — including participants from Patna, Bhubaneswar, Paradip, Ranchi, Delhi and host city Jamshedpur — are expected to take part, with strong representation from the local golfing community as well. The platinum edition has already created a buzz among leading golfers, corporate executives, sports enthusiasts and distinguished guests nationwide.

The preparations are being led by a dedicated organising team comprising Golf Captain D. B. Sundar Ramam, Vice President (Corporate Services), Tata Steel Limited; Golf Secretary Neeraj Kumar Sinha, Chief (Safety), Tata Steel Limited; and Golf CEO Alan Singh, all working to deliver a grand and memorable tournament.

Beyond top-tier competitive golf and an attractive prize pool, the event will feature a lively social programme. Golfers and guests will be treated to a barbeque dinner on January 16, followed by a gala lunch and dinner on January 17, and a concluding lunch on January 18, with live music and band performances adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

To mark 75 years of legacy, the 2026 edition will also showcase special heritage displays, community outreach initiatives, gala evenings, and commemorative matches honouring former champions and legendary contributors. Organisers say the tournament will not only celebrate sporting excellence but also the enduring community spirit and rich sporting tradition that define Jamshedpur.
