Kavi Sammelan Lights Up Ispat Bhawan with Poetry, Passion and Patriotism

 

Bokaro: The Steel City came alive with words, rhythm, and emotion as Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL) organized a grand Kavi Sammelan at Ispat Bhawan on Thursday. The event brought together senior and emerging poets who enthralled the audience with verses on Hindi, patriotism, compassion, and humor.

BSL General Manager (Communications & Administration) C.R.K. Sudhanshu graced the event as the chief guest, joined by DGM Alok Kumar, Senior Manager Vibha Rani, Assistant Manager Manas Chandra Rajwar, and several officials and employees.

Under the direction of poet and singer Arun Pathak, the evening began with Mahashweta’s soulful rendition of ‘Hey Maa Saraswati Bhagwati…’, setting the tone for an evening rich in lyrical brilliance.

Renowned local poets including Sukhnandan Singh ‘Saday’, Bhutkun Jha, Vijay Shankar Mallick ‘Sudhapati’, Dr. Asha Pushp, Mahashweta, Shailja Jha, Deepti Nishank, Neelam Jha, Rinku Giri Ratan, Dr. Ranjit Kumar Jha, Brajesh Pandey, and Arun Kumar Pathak captivated listeners with their thought-provoking and patriotic compositions.

From Shailja Jha’s introspective poem “Responsibility” to Bhutkun Jha’s lyrical “We are Hindi, Hindi is ours”, and Arun Pathak’s “Hindi is the language of the masses”, every poet highlighted the beauty, power, and pride of the Hindi language.

Speaking on the occasion, DGM Alok Kumar said Hindi remains one of the most powerful mediums of expression and that BSL regularly organizes such events to nurture it. Chief guest C.R.K. Sudhanshu applauded the poets and reaffirmed BSL’s commitment to promoting cultural and literary pursuits in Bokaro.

All participating poets were felicitated with shawls and mementos, while Assistant Manager Manas Chandra Rajwar proposed the vote of thanks.
