Inter-Steel Badminton Championship 2025–26: Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) Lifts Men’s Team Trophy

Bokaro: Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) clinched the Men’s Team crown at the Inter-Steel Badminton Championship 2025–26, edging past RINL, Visakhapatnam, in a gripping 2–1 final. Displaying sharp coordination and disciplined play, the BSL squad sealed victory with standout performances from Arijit Banerjee and Snehashish Patra in the final clash.

The championship, hosted by BSL under the aegis of the Steel Plants Sports Board, kicked off on March 17 at the Steel Club and Recreation Centre, Sector-03, and saw participation from nine leading steel plants across India.

Executive Director (HR) Rajashree Banerjee graced the occasion as Chief Guest, alongside senior officials including S.K. Bhardwaj, Chaudhary Ratnesh Kumar Sudhanshu, and Alok Kumar. Applauding the winners, Banerjee highlighted the role of sports in building fitness, discipline, leadership, and team spirit.

With a commanding run through the tournament and a composed finish in the final, BSL reaffirmed its sporting excellence on the inter-steel stage.
