Vedanta’s ESL Steel Bags Top Awards at 33rd CCQC

Bokaro: In a resounding testament to its culture of innovation and quality, ESL Steel Limited (Vedanta Group) stole the spotlight at the 33rd Chapter Convention on Quality Concepts (CCQC) organized by the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI), Bokaro Chapter.

Outshining some of India’s most reputed companies — including SAIL, ITC, Tata Group, XISS, and Vivek Educational Group — all seven ESL teams bagged the ‘Par-Excellence Award,’ the convention’s highest honor.

The event saw participation from 45 teams across industries, but ESL’s consistent performance and commitment to innovation made it a standout achiever.

The winning teams were selected after a stringent in-house evaluation of 15 top Kaizen projects, assessed on innovation, implementation, and measurable outcomes.

Congratulating the champions, ESL management said, “This accomplishment reflects the collaborative spirit, creativity, and pursuit of excellence that defines ESL. Our teams have once again shown that when passion meets purpose, success follows naturally.”
