Bokaro: On the sixth day of the ongoing Shri Ram Katha at Sector 4 Mazdoor Maidan, organized by the Shri Ram Katha Organizing Committee, renowned narrator Rajan Ji Maharaj captivated the audience with a vivid recounting of the Sitaram marriage episode. His narration, complemented by soulful bhajans like “Teri mand mand muskaniya pe balihaar Raghav ji…” left the crowd spellbound. Maharaj shared that grace is not always visible, but is experienced, urging everyone to seek blessings before embarking on any endeavor in life.

Describing the grandeur of Shri Ram’s wedding procession, Maharaj recalled how the journey from Ayodhya to Janakpur was so magnificent that day and night seemed to blend together. He painted a picture of Janakpur’s decorations so exquisite that even Brahma Ji, the creator, questioned his own creation. He referred to the Sitaram Vivah as a perfect union of a grand baraat and a beautiful saraati, highlighting the perfect coordination between King Janak’s and King Dasharath’s people for the event.

Maharaj humorously contrasted the wedding’s immaculate preparations with the often chaotic nature of modern-day weddings. He pointed out how, at times, baraatis disrupt the atmosphere, and reminded the audience of the importance of cooperation and patience during wedding celebrations, despite any mismanagement.

The audience, dressed in vibrant red and yellow saris and colorful kurtas, danced along to the bhajans, creating a joyous atmosphere that reflected the spirit of the Janakpur wedding. The event saw a lively mix of singing and dancing, with the energy matching the festive mood of the Sitaram marriage.

As the packed pandal echoed with devotion, Maharaj praised the love and enthusiasm shown by the people of Bokaro for Lord Shri Ram. He concluded by encouraging the crowd to continue nurturing such love and devotion, making the event not just a spiritual gathering but a celebration of community spirit.
